Frontrunner XT Reduces noise

The Problem

A housing association in Northern France started receiving complaints from its residents about slippery surfaces and excessive noise. The building was a busy apartment block comprising of four floors all linked by passageways and communal areas. The residents and their visitors were slipping on the walkways which were open to the elements, and were not happy about noise created by pedestrian foot traffic which produced an echoing in the passageways.

The Solution

After consultation Frontrunner XT was recommended, as the extra slip-resistant properties was a perfect solution for both problems. This matting was specifically designed for high foot fall in external areas, for example walkways, passageways and decking. Its construction has a heavy diamond pattern which delivers an excellent anti-slip surface.

One of the key characteristics of this matting is its quick drainage, due to the open mesh design it dissipates water and liquids quickly, and the heavy aggressive tread surface helps remove dirt and debris as it falls through the matting where its trapped and collected.
